Qualifications

  • Ability to write lesson plans and organize a preschool classroom.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement caregiving and teaching practices aligned with CYCs philosophy.
  • Plan an asset-based classroom reflecting children's learning styles and experiences.
  • Assess student learning and use results to design activities.
  • Collaborate with CYС staff and COE to develop play-based curriculum.
  • Develop CYC program guidelines with staff.
  • Supervise teacher aides and volunteers.
  • Communicate with parents and other stakeholders through conferences.
  • Support IRB approved research with faculty and graduate students.
  • Support the CYC mission in daily operations.
