Job summary

CompuNet Clinical Laboratories in Hillsboro, OH is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist for Chemistry. The role involves performing and reporting laboratory tests under guidance from the Chemistry Technical Director and site manager, with oversight of training, QC reviews, proficiency testing, and instrument troubleshooting.

The position requires an MLS degree (MLT/MT) with ASCP or equivalent certification and at least 1 year of Chemistry testing experience, plus

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLT/MT) ASCP certification or comparable required.
• A minimum of 1 year of Chemistry testing experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.
• Good independent judgment and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine technical work as assigned by the Senior Manager or Technical Director.
• Maintain QC and instrument performance; record results.
• Oversee training, proficiency testing, and instrument troubleshooting.
• Act as liaison between shift and senior management.
• Assist with new analyzers and perform routine calibrations.
