Murray Resources - Best Staffing Agency seeks a Production Supervisor for a chemical blending company in Texas. Lead blending, filling, and packaging; manage tank truck loading and unloading with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities include scheduling daily production, using ERP/MRP systems for planning and inventory control, and training new hires while ensuring compliance and efficiency in a high-volume facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in chemical production/manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience loading/unloading chemicals from tankers.
• Experience with pumps, hoses, valves, tanks, and transfer lines.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP or production management systems.
• Strong leadership and safety/compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Direct, organize, and oversee blending, filling, and packaging of chemical products.
• Oversee tank truck/tanker loading/unloading operations and ensure safe transfers.
• Ensure proper use of pumps, hoses, valves, connections, and transfer lines.
• Monitor transfers, tank levels, and related conditions for safe loading/unloading.
• Ensure production meets quality, safety, and productivity standards.
• Schedule and communicate daily production activities to meet demand.
• Use ERP/production management system for planning, scheduling, inventory, and documentation.
• Enter production and inventory transactions accurately and timely.
• Adhere to procedures, policies, environmental requirements, and safety regs.
• Lead safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency improvement projects.
• Maintain clean, secure production and loading areas.
• Evaluate employees and manage performance, attendance, and safety.
• Onboard new hires with appropriate training; address concerns.
