Job summary

StevenDouglas is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead large-scale design/build chemical manufacturing and packaging projects from initiation through completion. You will coordinate with engineering, compliance, operations, and external partners to meet budget, schedule, and leadership expectations across HASA locations.

The role requires a Civil/Environmental/Mechanical/Industrial/Chemical engineering degree, 7+ years of PM experience, and a track record of safety

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical) or equivalent.
7+ years of project management experience, preferably building new chemical plants from grassroots.
PE license or active progress toward licensure is a plus.
PMP certification is a plus.
Experience in engineering design/build chemical projects and cross-functional collaboration.
Demonstrated safety leadership in high-risk construction environments.

Responsibilities

Lead cradle-to-grave management of multiple engineering design/build chemical manufacturing and packaging projects across HASA locations, ensuring on-schedule and within-budget delivery.
Coordinate with design firms, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other project contacts to maintain alignment and progress.
Develop proposals, scopes of work, budgets, and project timelines; track capital spend and schedules using MS Excel, MS Project, and Procore.
Coordinate project deliverables through weekly meetings and ongoing communication with internal teams and external partners.
Review project plans and specifications to ensure accuracy during construction; manage submittals with engineering.
Generate purchase orders, track material deliveries, and support scheduling with design firms, contractors, and subcontractors.
