Job summary

Upper Crust Food Service is seeking a classically trained Chef to design, plan, and execute fresh, from-scratch menus for Greek-life clients. You will lead kitchen staff, oversee food quality, and ensure adherence to sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional, high-volume food production or catering.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Must hold or obtain manager‑level sanitation certification within 30 days.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, design, and execute menus.
• Lead kitchen staff and manage schedules with management’s approval.
• Ensure sanitation and food safety standards per state and local regulations.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area.
• Communicate regularly with management via calls, emails, and texts.
• Control inventory and order supplies within budget.
