Job summary

Harmons Markets is seeking a kitchen supervisor to maintain the quality and quantity of chef-prepared items. You will prepare salads, entrees, soups, and hot case items, and manage receiving and stocking of products, while ensuring accurate pricing and signage.

You will train cooks, write production sheets, monitor inventory, and provide exemplary customer service in a fast-paced environment. Weekend/evening/holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit required.
• Experience in kitchen operations and food preparation preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows established department and store policies.
• Maintains quality and freshness of all products.
• Manages kitchen inventory and pricing signage, especially for ad items.
• Sends and trains cooks and prep staff.
• Prepares chef-prepared items per Harmons' recipes.
• Writes production sheets and oversees ordering.
• Delivers excellent customer service.
