Job summary

Sandstone Care is seeking a full-time Head Chef for our Crownsville Teen Residential Facility in Crownsville, MD. The role focuses on nutritious menu planning, meal prep, and kitchen leadership to support clients in residential treatment.

The ideal candidate will hold a Serve Safe Certification with at least 3 years of kitchen leadership experience, and a valid driver’s license. Competitive benefits accompany this position as part of our mission-driven team.

Qualifications

Sandstone Care is hiring for a full time Head Chef for our Crownsville Teen Residential Facility!

Our kitchen team works collaboratively to make amazing nutritious meals for clients at our Teen Residential Treatment facility in beautiful Crownsville, MD. We need someone who is passionate, reliable, and service oriented. As a member of the team you are an integral part of treatment for clients and help create a safe environment for them to get the support they need.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Menu Planning, Meal Prep, and Cooking for up to 48 adolescent clients in residential treatment for substance use and mental health / mood disorders.
• Kitchen and Inventory Management
• Supervision, Training, and Development of Kitchen Staff

COMPENSATION: $20-24 Per Hour

Experience & Qualifications:

• Candidates must be Serve Safe Certified
• Ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience in food preparation / cooking
• Candidates must have a valid drivers and meet requirements to be covered by company insurance
• Prior experience or education in Mental Health is preferred
