Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Technical Expert LL6 to lead the technical design, development, and in-house process delivery for suspension structural components in Ford Vehicles. The role emphasizes DFMEA, PD/CAD data, and manufacturing feasibility across stampings, castings, and forgings.

The candidate will drive design for manufacturing reviews, perform process simulations, and ensure tool readiness aligned with plant capabilities and PPAP requirements.

Qualifications

• BS-Engineering required.
• 10+ years in chassis structural design and engineering.
• Experience with suspension structural components (stampings, castings, forgings).
• Deep understanding of DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of in-house design and manufacturing processes for suspension structural parts.
• Create and manage engineering foundation documents (design guides, DRs, RQTs).
• Develop process FMEAs, Control Plans, and Sub-component BOMs.
