Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Charge Nurse - RN or LPN to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of CNAs in accordance with facility standards and regulations, ensuring the highest quality of care for residents.

You will collaborate with physicians and the Interdisciplinary Care Plan team, administer medications as ordered, mentor nursing staff, participate in quality assurance, and help prepare residents for discharge or transfers while maintaining a compassionate, compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Must have Ohio RN or LPN license.
• Nursing degree from accredited college/program.
• Experience supervising CNAs in long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs the day-to-day nursing activities of CNAs in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
• Administers medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Participates in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings and coordinates resident care.
• Mentors CNAs and helps with staff development and scheduling.
• Ensures resident rooms and equipment are clean, safe, and compliant.
