Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care across the lifecycle and to address operational needs during the shift.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure, ACLS, PALS, chemotherapy/biotherapy certs, NRP, PEARS, and 1 year hospital experience; a BSN preferred. You will collaborate with leaders and deliver safe patient care in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• 1 year of hospital nursing experience required.
• 2+ years hospital nursing experience preferred.
• RN Georgia licensure required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification prior to independent chemotherapy administration required.
• NRP by orientation end date required (Women’s Services)
• PEARS certification required (Piedmont Athens Hospital)

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle and handles operational issues during the shift.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
