Job summary

Duke University Health System in Durham, NC seeks a registered nurse to provide professional nursing care in a Monday–Friday onsite role. You will collect and analyze patient data, develop care plans, and collaborate with the health care team to deliver high-quality patient care.

The position requires a BSN, NC RN licensure, and a minimum of 12 months clinical experience. BLS is required and relocation assistance is available based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN program is required.
• Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is required.
• Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS certification is required; specialty certifications may be required for some areas.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care for patients per physician orders and policies.
• Assist team as charge nurse or leader for a group of patients or unit as assigned.
• Ensure proper use and care of materials, maintain cleanliness and equipment standards.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans and communicate patient status to the team.
• Support policy development and contribute to operational efficiency.
