Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced Lead Certified Surgical Technologist for the OB specialty. You’ll lead the obstetric surgical team, mentor technologists, and ensure sterile, efficient delivery of care while supporting safe patient experiences.

The role requires 1 year CST experience with certification and a commitment to the day shift (7a-7p) with weekend rotation; excellent teamwork and leadership are essential to our patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year CST experience required with certification.
• High School Graduate / GED.
• Vocational/Technical graduate of Surgical Technician program.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Leading surgical suite preparation by organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
• Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and transport while maintaining comfort, safety, and privacy
• Supporting the surgical team during procedures by anticipating needs and providing instruments and supplies
• Guiding and mentoring Surgical Technologists and sharing updates on processes, equipment, and best practices
• Maintaining sterile technique, performing counts, and ensuring a safe, organized environment for patients and staff
