Job summary

Actalent in Denver, CO seeks a Certification and Lab Testing Engineer to lead lab operations, ensure products meet UL and AHRI certifications, and coordinate with external agencies. The role blends hands-on testing with regulatory oversight in a fully onsite setting.

Responsibilities include guiding 2–3 lab technicians, conducting capacity and energy compliance tests, and ensuring overall safety validations.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with UL and AHRI certifications.
• Lab testing experience, preferably in HVAC or refrigeration systems.
• Leadership experience managing small technical teams.
• Experience coordinating certification with external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead lab testing operations to ensure compliance with industry certifications.
• Coordinate testing submissions to external certification agencies.
• Manage and guide a team of 2–3 lab technicians.
• Conduct capacity testing, energy compliance evaluations, and safety validations.
• Oversee performance, safety, and energy testing processes.
