Job Roles

• Safety - Manages processes effectively in regard to employee/patient safety.
• Record Keeping - Maintains all required records, reports, statistics, logs, files and other documents as required.
• Process Improvement - Promotes a culture of process improvement by participating inunit/department based programs that supports the system’s process improvement goals. Actively participates on system-wide or hospital-based teams as needed.

Role Specific Responsibilities

• Greets, escorts and transports patients and visitors. Collaborates with auxiliary staff.
• Lead: Assigns greeters/transporters to designated areas.
• Lead: Coordinates work and patient flow to utilize staff efficiently.
• Lead: Assists manager/supervisor with staff scheduling.
• Lead: Provides input on staff performance/evaluations.
• Lead: Assist with development, and delivery of, training for new staff while providing input on onboarding processes.
• Leas: Superuser for Epic/Transport platform and Rovers OR Transporter: Assists staff in turning over rooms OR Transporter: Assist in cleaning surgery rooms OR Transporter: Assists in pulling instruments for cases.

Compensation

Compensation (Commensurate with experience): $17.92 To $26.88
