Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector to lead advanced construction inspections for transportation projects in the Cartersville, GA area.

The role includes supervising inspectors, performing contract administration, and supporting project documentation and reviews. The candidate should have four years of progressive transportation technician experience, GDOT certifications, and strong knowledge of highway construction materials and methods.

Qualifications

• Four years of progressive transportation technician experience with a State Highway Agency or consultant
• Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects
• Experience serving as a lead inspector and coordinating inspection personnel
• Obtain required certifications and pass GDOT qualification tests (Groups 1-3)
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in highway construction

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced construction inspection for roadway and bridge projects
• Supervise and guide lower-level inspectors on routine to moderately complex work
• Manage contract administration duties and project documentation
• Participate in project meetings and reviews
• Review invoiced work and monitor project funding and compliance
