Job summary

C&S Chemicals in Cambridge, MD is seeking a Custom Applicator Lead to join our Ag Services Team. You will mix, load, transport, and apply litter amendments and water treatment programs at customer poultry facilities, with a focus on safety, precision, and responsive service.

This role requires a valid CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, 3–5 years of relevant experience, a clean MVR, and strong customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• 3–5 years experience as a custom applicator or equivalent.
• Clean MVR with no preventable accidents.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely mix, load, transport and apply chemical solutions at poultry facilities.
• Operate and maintain application equipment including trucks and machinery.
• Monitor application rates and adjust equipment settings to achieve desired outcomes.
• Adhere to SOPs for mixing, handling, loading and applying chemicals including chlorine-based solutions, acids, pesticides, and disinfectants.
• Coordinate and schedule application jobs and optimize routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Track inventory levels and support procurement; act as primary customer contact.
