Position Details

Pay Range: $24.00 per hour

Job Summary
  1. Event Setup Management: Oversee and lead catering event setups, ensuring all stations, tables, equipment, and decor meet client specifications and standards.
  2. Team Supervision: Supervise catering staff, assign tasks, and ensure effective communication during events.
  3. Inventory and Equipment Management: Monitor and maintain catering supplies and equipment, assist in inventory processes.
  4. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks to ensure presentation standards are met before events.
  5. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure safety and sanitation regulations are followed, maintain cleanliness.
  6. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve issues promptly during setup and events.
  7. Post-Event Breakdown: Lead cleanup and equipment packing, ensuring the venue is left in excellent condition.
Qualifications
  1. Experience: Minimum 3 years in catering or event planning, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  2. Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; high attention to detail.
  3. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for long periods, work in various environments.
  4. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; hospitality or event management certification is a plus.
  5. Work Environment: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
