Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years of professional cooking experience, including catering or banquets.
Ability to read BEOs, production sheets, and recipes; strong math for costing and scaling.
Knowledge of food safety, allergen handling, and temperature control.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and portion large-batch items for events from small meetings to hundreds of guests.
Plan menus and service styles (buffet, boxed meals, grab-and-go) while maintaining quality and presentation.
Review BEOs and production sheets to determine quantities, timelines, equipment, and staffing needs.
Follow standardized recipes and scale them to guest counts; maintain portion guides and presentation standards.
Coordinate with Kitchen Manager, Food & Beverage, and Events teams on guest counts, dietary needs, and setup requirements.
Set up and breakdown buffet lines, chafing stations, and food displays at event locations.
Maintain food safety by monitoring temperatures and following allergen protocols.
