Boyd Gaming Corporation in Kansas City seeks a Security Shift Supervisor to oversee the Security Department during assigned shifts, ensuring the safety of guests, employees, and property.

You will lead security staff, conduct pre-shift briefings, manage shift schedules, review incident reports, and respond decisively to emergencies requiring supervisory intervention. Strong leadership, clear communication, and adherence to regulations are essential.

Formación

• Minimum six months of supervisory experience in casino security or a comparable field.
• Demonstrated leadership with ability to supervise, motivate, and develop security team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for briefings and documentation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain certifications/licenses as required by authorities.
• Physical ability to stand/walk for entire shift.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and instruct security team on performance and protocols.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings informing staff of events and priorities.
• Establish and maintain shift schedules and assign tasks.
• Review and approve incident reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Review and authorize arrests and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Monitor staff adherence to laws, policies, and standards; provide support as needed.
• Execute additional duties and special projects as directed by senior management.
