Job summary

The Queen Baton Rouge is seeking a leader for Revenue Accounting to ensure accurate posting of revenue and compliance with government reporting. You will supervise the accounting team, prepare journal entries, and support reconciliation of the general ledger for a bustling gaming operation.

Ideal candidates will have an associate degree in finance or accounting and at least 2 years of related experience, with the ability to obtain a Louisiana gaming permit and interact professionally with guests

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a finance- or accounting-related field preferred.
• 2 years of experience in finance or accounting preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Louisiana State Gaming Permit.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership to Revenue Accounting department.
• Prepare and post revenue journal entries for all revenues and related expenses.
• Assist with reconciliation of general ledger.
• Prepare weekly gaming tax returns.
• Maintain tracking records for all revenue.
• Complete all government reporting.
• Monitor staffing levels to ensure budgetary compliance.
• Manage escalated guest service issues appropriately and discreetly.
