Job summary

The role involves unloading trucks, stocking shelves, assisting customers, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with basic math and cash handling skills required.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions.
• Knowledge of safety policies and practices.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise according to store procedures.
• Maintain shelves, rotate and face items, build displays.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answer questions.
• Open/close the cash register, process payments and bag purchases.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of store and back areas.
• Support store team leadership in planning and execution of tasks.
