Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a part-time cashier to process merchandise and fuel transactions at our Canton, CO locations. You will lead small shifts, manage end-of-shift reports, and ensure accurate transactions while following all safety and sales guidelines.

You will handle cash and card payments, promote add-on products, and provide friendly guest service. The role includes maintaining a clean area and collaborating with team members to resolve issues and ensure a smooth operation.

Qualifications

• Experience handling cash and POS systems.
• Ability to supervise 1–2 cashiers on shift.
• Compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures
• Follow company and local guidelines with regards to the sale of restricted merchandise items (i.e., alcohol, tobacco)
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products
• Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest
• Handle guest complaints and issues by following company processes and guidelines; resolve team member conflict; and communicate issues to management
• Determine break schedules and team member placement during shift
• Assist with other travel center functions such as maintaining deli, cleaning showers and restrooms, stocking, making coffee, etc.
• Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
• Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Complete other duties as assigned
