Job summary

Ulta Beauty is hiring a Lead Cashier to ensure efficient guest transactions and maintain cashwrap standards. The LC trains new cashiers, cross-trains associates, and drives loyalty through exceptional guest experiences and sales performance.

Responsibilities include leading open/close register routines, promoting the Ulta Beauty loyalty program, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization. Flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty and credit
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service with a guest-friendly environment and personalized recommendations
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges
• Pair guests with a beauty advisor for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations
• Book appointments and support in-store services and events to drive guest experience and sales
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures for guest-readiness
