Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Cashier Lead at our Manning, SC location to deliver excellent customer service and accurate POS transactions. You will help stock and organize merchandise, perform cycle counts, and assist with scheduling and training within a busy travel-center environment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of cashier experience, strong cash handling and POS skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of cashier experience preferred.
• Computer/POS knowledge required.
• Cash handling skills required.
• Register audits and safe counting experience preferred.
• Merchandising/stocking experience required.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service.
• Serve each customer courteously, quickly and efficiently with a positive attitude.
• Process transactions on a POS register and maintain a clean, well‑stocked area.
• Stock, organize, and rotate merchandise on planograms.
• Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Assist with creating and managing the team’s schedule.
• Train junior cashiers on duties and responsibilities.
