Job summary

TravelCenters of America seeks a Cashier Lead to deliver outstanding customer service at our travel centers. You will manage cashier duties, process POS transactions, and ensure a clean, stocked food and beverage area.

You’ll also help with scheduling, training, and inventory controls in a fast-paced retail setting. The role requires 4+ years of cashier experience, strong POS skills, and ability to work nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of cashier experience preferred.
• Computer/POS knowledge required.
• Register audits and safe counting experience preferred.
• Merchandising/stocking experience required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service.
• Process transactions on a POS register and maintain a clean, stocked area.
• Order, receive, and unload product; stock and rotate merchandise on planograms.
• Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Assist with creating and managing the team’s schedule.
• Train lower-level cashiers on duties and responsibilities.
