Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a reliable Cashier III to join our store team in Beaumont, TX. You will provide excellent customer service, process transactions on a POS register, and keep the sales area clean, organized, and well-stocked.

You’ll also assist with stock orders, merchandising, and end-of-day reporting, while helping train newer cashiers and adhering to safety guidelines. Flexibility to work nights, weekends and some holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cashier with strong customer service skills.
• Proficient with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Experience merchandising and stocking products on shelves.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately at the POS register.
• Maintain a clean, organized food and beverage area.
• Assist with ordering, receiving and stocking products.
• Rotate merchandise according to planograms and conduct cycle counts.
• Support training of junior cashiers and assist with end-of-day reporting.
• Follow safety guidelines and escalate unsafe situations.
• Communicate effectively with leaders and teammates.
