You will help load merchandise, verify prices, and support in-store operations to ensure a smooth checkout experience. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of cashier experience in retail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
• 1 year cashier experience in retail setting.
• Experience with basic computer use and common retail tech (phones, tablets).
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure if required by law.

Responsabilités

• Provides SMART customer service in line with Lowe's policies and programs.
• Greet customers, understand needs, and assist in locating, demonstrating, and loading merchandise.
• Answer questions and guide customers to product areas or demonstration stations as needed.
• Communicate stock, warranty, and program information to customers clearly.
• Operate cash register to process sales, returns, and refunds per guidelines.
• Provide accurate change and maintain drawer integrity and balance.
• Tag removal, product verification, bagging merchandise for customers.
• Assist in checkout flow by opening/closing registers and ensuring coverage.
• Prepare register area and ensure scanners and supplies are ready.
• Inspect returned merchandise for damage and process accordingly.
• Enter and verify customer orders, print tickets, and sign loading tickets.
• Look up product information and verify price match when needed.
• Record usage items on store lists and perform daily reconciliation tasks.
• Monitor cash in drawer and cash recycler limits.
• Report security concerns to management and Asset Protection.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety per Zone Recovery and safety rules.
• Operate store equipment as needed (phones, copiers, CCTV, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.
