Job summary

Aramark Lead Cashier role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service, operating the POS system accurately, and guiding a team of cashiers to maintain front-of-house efficiency.

Responsibilities include cash handling, training staff, balancing drawers, and ensuring cleanliness and product availability during service hours. The position may require light supervisory duties and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires customer service experience.
• Requires cash handling experience.
• Requires basic math and counting skills.
• Experience in a supervisory or related role preferred.
• Able to demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must follow the required dress code as assigned and in line with workplace policies.
• Complete Food Handling training and alcohol service training as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while delivering excellent customer service.
• Schedule and delegate work assignments to team and coordinate task completion.
• Train and guide staff in customer service, cash handling, product knowledge and procedures.
• Make change, verify bag deposits and balance cash drawer.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and close/open procedures.
• Ensure inventory is stocked and location inventory is maintained.
• Assist in cleanup and sanitation during and after service.
