Position Overview: The Lead Cashier (LC) ensures efficient guest transactions and maintains cashwrap standards, including cleanliness and aesthetics. The LC assists in training new cashiers, cross-training staff, and driving loyalty results through sales, guest service, and compliance. They support opening and closing registers, conduct associate exit inspections, and promote the benefits of our Loyalty Life Cycle.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed store goals related to sales, loyalty, and shrinkage.
• Provide exceptional guest service, including greeting, personalizing service, and product recommendations.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously.
• Support in-store services and events to enhance guest experience and sales.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures.
• Support store standards, cleanliness, and safety protocols.

People:

• Support an inclusive environment and assist in training new cashiers.
• Engage and influence peers to achieve performance goals.
• Participate in ongoing training and collaborate with team members to grow the business.

Process:

• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
• Complete transactions accurately, including returns and media control.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety throughout the store.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma preferred.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience preferred.
• Strong sales, customer service, and training skills.
• Proficient with POS systems and technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Requirements:

• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 18 or older.

Working Conditions:

• Mobility throughout the store, lifting up to 25 lbs, and physical activity during shifts.
