Job Summary Details:

POSITION PURPOSE

The Lead Cashier represents the Company at each exit plaza, supervising cashiers on each shift and supporting the operation of each exit plaza.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) year of prior customer service or similar experience preferred

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Working effectively in a team environment
• Familiarity with all operational areas within the service location
• Completing tasks timely while adhering to company policies
• Providing professional customer service
• Enforcing operating procedures
• Reporting equipment malfunctions to the Computer Room Clerk
• Managing supplies at the exit toll plaza
• Processing transactions smoothly and efficiently
• Ensuring timely cash drops and deposit preparation
• Training new cashiers
• Managing cash variances and shift reports
• Maintaining adequate cashier staffing and scheduling breaks
• Possessing knowledge of all operational aspects of the facility
• Communicating with management and authorities as needed
• Overseeing shift operations including cash drops, reconciliations, and paperwork
• Coordinating with other plazas and personnel for staffing
• Monitoring supplies and ensuring cleanliness of workspaces
• Maintaining visibility with staff and customers to uphold quality standards
• Training new hires and completing training checklists
• Performing other duties as assigned
