The Lead Cashier (LC) is responsible for the efficiency of guest transactions and maintaining excellence in cashwrap standards, including cleanliness and overall aesthetics. Experienced in cashiering, the LC assists in training new cashiers and cross-training other associates. This role requires proactive collaboration, leadership, and influence among peers. The Lead Cashier drives loyalty results, including credit, by focusing on performance (sales, guest experience, and loyalty), people (guest service, associate training and development), and process (operating procedures and compliance standards). The position supports opening and closing register functions, associate exit inspections, and cashier chat ins/outs, with a passion for guest experience and process excellence, engaging every guest on our Loyalty Life Cycle to meet goals.
