Job summary

Hard Rock International is seeking a Count Team member to manage currency and voucher counting derived from casino games while ensuring compliance with Gaming/Lottery regulations. The role emphasizes extraordinary guest service and mentoring colleagues in a fast-paced Count Room environment.

The incumbent will count, reconcile, and document funds, protect large cash assets, and collaborate with Accounting and Cage departments daily.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent, plus two months on-the-job training.
• Must obtain and maintain valid licenses per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
• Pass background check and drug screening.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Knowledge of cashiering or banking operations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with 10-Key calculator.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that encourages guests to choose Hard Rock for gaming entertainment and mentor team members to deliver superior service.
• Protect large currency amounts with careful procedures to prevent loss and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure procedures and controls protect counted receipts.
• Count and reconcile currency and vouchers; transfer documentation to Accounting daily.
• Maintain awareness of security issues in the Count Room and report observations.
• Conduct all aspects of the count from opening boxes to final reconciliation of totals.
• Provide documentation for transfers to the Cage and other departments as needed.
• Deliver service that creates memorable guest experiences and comply with Gaming regulations.
