Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI, a full-service nationwide general contractor and the nation's largest ServiceMaster franchise, is seeking a Lead Carpenter in Springfield, IL. This full-time skilled tradesman role focuses on remodeling, drywall, painting, tile, flooring and carpentry across multiple projects with a consistent workload.

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $25–$32 plus a daily vehicle stipend, six paid holidays, and accruing PTO. Overtime paid after 40 hours, double time after 60.

Qualifications

• Remodeling experience across drywall, paint, tile, and carpentry.
• Reliable and hardworking with strong workmanship.
• Provide your own tools and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid drivers license and clean background/drug screen.
• Previous restoration experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform remodeling and construction tasks including patching and home rebuilds.
• Collaborate with superintendents and tradesmen to complete projects on schedule.

Salary Range: $25 To $32 Hourly, Negotiable

The Position: We are looking for a full time skilled Tradesman with remodeling experience (Drywallers, Painters, Tile, Flooring, Carpenters, Mechanical). The more skills you have the more we can offer you. We work on anything from a small patch and paint to a complete home rebuild. With our consistent workload, great leaders and well-rounded team members, this is a highly sought-after opportunity for you to find a permanent home. The pay range we are offering is $25-$32 an hour, along with a daily vehicle stipend for travel expenses, six major holidays are paid off and you will accrue PTO as you work. Overtime is paid at 40+ and Double time after 60+. We are a growing company and there are advancement opportunities. Tradesmen are only working on construction phases, not water mitigation.
