Gridley Company is a trusted design-build remodeling firm in Campbell, CA, seeking an Experienced Carpenter / Lead Carpenter. This full-time role covers independent complex carpentry or leading field teams, reporting closely with Project Managers.

Key duties include rough and finish carpentry on residential projects, coordinating with designers and subs, and mentoring apprentices while upholding Gridley Company’s quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential remodeling carpentry experience.
• Strong rough and finish carpentry skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform rough and finish carpentry on residential remodeling projects.
• Install cabinetry, trim, doors, windows, flooring, and other finish components.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project details.
• Coordinate effectively with Project Managers, designers, subcontractors, and trade partners.
• Mentor apprentices and less experienced carpenters.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe job sites.
