Job summary

Willow Brook Builders in Hanover, NH is seeking a Lead Carpenter to drive high-end residential remodeling projects. You will lead framing and finish crews, read architectural plans, and ensure work meets schedule, budget, and quality standards.

You will mentor apprentices, coordinate with trades, and maintain a safe jobsite using the company's systematized processes and JobTread PM. This role offers growth toward a Superintendent position.

Qualifications

• Residential framing, finish carpentry, layout, and staircase construction experience.
• Ability to read architectural plans and specifications accurately.
• Strong leadership and communication across small crews or trades.

Responsibilities

• Lead framing and finish crews through complex remodeling phases to stay on schedule and budget.
• Execute master carpentry tasks including roof framing, staircases, and cabinetry installations.
• Manage jobsite in the Superintendent's absence, coordinate trades and suppliers, ensure safety and quality.
• Maintain transparent communication with homeowners about progress and schedules.
• Create material orders and use JobTread PM for purchases and receiving workflows.
• Mentor carpenters and apprentices to build a skilled field crew.
