Job summary

Blackdog Builders, Inc. is seeking a skilled Lead Carpenter to run day-to-day residential remodeling on projects across Southern NH and Northern MA, with a focus on craftsmanship, safety, and client experience.

You’ll supervise crews, read plans, perform framing, trim, and cabinetry installs, and coordinate with PMs to keep schedules on track. This full-time, year-round role offers a competitive hourly rate, bonuses, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential remodeling experience with lead/working-lead responsibility.
• Strong craftsmanship and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients, PMs, and trades.

Responsibilities

• Lead site execution for residential remodeling projects from demo through finish.
• Perform layout, framing, window/door installs, cabinetry, trim, and finish carpentry.
• Read plans and perform material takeoffs from site conditions/blueprints.
• Coordinate daily with Project Managers and sequence trades to maintain schedule.
