Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a skilled foreman to oversee crews performing form work for metal, wood, and related fixtures. The role requires reading blueprints, laying out structures, and ensuring accurate fabrication and installation per design specifications.

You will lead on-site activities, supervise subcontractors, and enforce safety rules. Candidates should have construction experience, the ability to work at heights, and competence with common hand tools and measurements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior field experience preferred.
• Knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures in a field.
• Follows instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform duties.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Responsibilities

• Builds and erects formwork per blueprints or instructions.
• Selects and transports materials to the job site.
• Prepares layout and marks cutting lines on materials.
• Measures and cuts timber using basic hand tools.
• Ensures accuracy using transit, plumb bob, square and level.
• Operates hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Rigs materials and handles equipment.
• Observes safety rules and project requirements.
