House Doctors is seeking a Lead Carpenter for home repair and remodels. You will lead crews, deliver high-quality craftsmanship, and ensure an outstanding customer experience on each project.

Ideal candidates have 5–10+ years in remodeling or carpentry, with strong blueprint reading, tool skills, and a customer-focused mindset. This full-time role offers growth opportunities and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10+ years of experience in remodeling, renovation, or general carpentry.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools (saws, drills, nail guns, levels, etc.).
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform framing, demolition, and structural repairs for remodel projects.
• Install and finish trim, doors, windows, tile, cabinetry, and flooring.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and shape materials with precision.
• Ensure work meets local building codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients on job progress.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Troubleshoot and solve issues that arise during remodels.
• Properly maintain tools and equipment.
• Assist with company business activities, events and initiatives.

• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various positions (kneeling, bending, overhead work)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Good communication skills and a professional, client-facing demeanor
• Valid Driver's license is required

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10/30 certification
• Experience with custom cabinetry, tile work, or finish carpentry
• Basic knowledge of plumbing/electrical for coordination purposes
