Job summary

House Doctors is seeking multi-skilled independent handyman pros who want to stay their own boss while plugging into a team that keeps the work flowing.

You’ll perform carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, plumbing, electrical, and related tasks on projects for homeowners, delivering excellent service and quality repairs while building your own client base.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10+ years of hands-on home repair and maintenance experience.
• Know techniques, tools, and materials of residential repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and identify correct fixes.
• Organized, dependable, and pride in delivering quality repair work.

House Doctors is a professional handyman and remodeling company serving St. Charles County and West County, and we're growing fast. We're looking for multi-skilled independent handyman pros who want to stay their own boss while plugging into a team that keeps the work flowing.

The Work

• Carpentry, trim, and door repairs and installs
• Drywall patching and finishing
• Interior and exterior paint touch-ups and small paint jobs
• Flooring repairs and small installs
• Light plumbing: faucets, toilets, disposals, and leaks
• Light electrical: fixtures, fans, switches, and outlets
• Small deck, fence, gutter and siding repairs
• Caulking, weatherproofing, and punch-list items

On every job, you'll:

• Deliver standout customer service to homeowners from start to finish
• Plan and run a clean, organized job site
• Manage your materials and equipment
• Complete invoicing and collect payment
• Be the face of House Doctors in the neighborhood, which means spotting new opportunities and connecting with future customers

You're a Fit If You...

• Have 5 to 10+ years of hands-on home repair and maintenance experience
• Know the techniques, tools, and materials of residential repair inside and out
• Can troubleshoot a problem and figure out the right fix
• Are organized, dependable, and take pride in deliver the best repair work with the right solution
• Genuinely enjoy working with homeowners and making their day
• Are comfortable learning a few basic apps and computer systems
• Can handle physical work, including bending, lifting 50+ lbs, and running tools all day
• Valid driver's license required
• Want year-round, long-term work with a team that’s going places

Previous handyman experience is a plus but not required. Solid construction skills are a must.
