Job summary

3G Companies in Madison, WI is seeking a Carpenter Foreman to lead our carpenters and apprentices on field projects. You will coordinate crew activities, drive safety culture, and ensure the project is delivered to high quality.

The role requires experience in general carpentry, prior supervisory experience, strong leadership, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication. This is an onsite field-based position with opportunities to mentor and train crews.

Qualifications

• Experience in general construction carpenter work, graduate in an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
• Preferred – Previous experience managing carpenters
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to use written and verbal communication effectively
• Ability to see the big picture

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate field personnel, project layout and planning.
• Manage crews and workforce
• Plan work sequencing
• Mentor and train carpenters
• Assist with JHA forms
• Maintain tool and equipment inventory on site
• Attend foreman meetings
• Coordinate with other trade partners
• Maintain schedule dates
• Promote and train safety policies
• Conduct safety walks and reports
• Understand budgets for self-perform work
• Maintain clean jobsite and ICRA standards
• Represent company externally
• Perform other duties as assigned
