Job summary

AscendHR, LLC is seeking a skilled Carpenter to support construction and remodeling of custom-built homes in the United States. The role involves reading project plans, preparing and installing materials, and performing rough and finish carpentry with attention to accuracy and quality.

You will work with the General Manager and building team, interpreting blueprints, calculating layouts, and installing frames, doors, windows, and flooring.

Qualifications

• Four to five years of carpentry experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to take precise measurements and perform calculations for layout, cutting, and installation.
• Extensive knowledge of common construction materials, hand tools, power tools, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and project specifications to determine materials and requirements.
• Take accurate measurements and cut/modify materials to meet specifications.
• Construct and install building frameworks, partitions, stairways, and decks.
• Install siding, roofing, drywall, flooring, cabinets, trim, and moulding.
• Ensure work meets plans, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with manager and subs to complete projects on time.
