Description

We’re seeking a Lead Carpenter to take ownership of high-end residential remodeling projects in the field.

This role is for someone who produces clean, precise work, leads with intention, and values a thoughtful, team-first approach to building. You’re comfortable operating at a lead level- managing workflow, guiding others, and delivering consistent, high-quality results.

What You’ll Do

• Lead day-to-day execution of high-end residential remodeling projects
• Perform and oversee finish and rough carpentry with strong attention to detail
• Perform job site setup, cleanup, and debris removal as needed
• Coordinate closely with project management, design, and trade partners
• Work with the Designer to ensure materials and finishes align with plans and client expectations
• Participate in production and design meetings as needed
• Assist the Production Manager with take-offs for larger projects
• Maintain project flow-anticipating challenges and keeping work on track
• Serve as a steady, professional presence for clients during construction
• Lead by example-mentor, support, and help develop less experienced carpenters
• Uphold job site standards for organization, safety, and craftsmanship

What You Bring

• 5-10+ years of residential carpentry experience, with leadership on active job sites
• Strong finish carpentry skills and an eye for detail
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, think ahead in sequencing and execution, and make thoughtful adjustments in real time while maintaining project flow
• Clear communication and a calm, solutions-oriented approach
• A sense of ownership—you care about the outcome
• A mentor’s mindset, with the ability to provide thoughtful guidance through active listening and hands-on teaching
• Comfort working in an environment where collaboration and accountability matter
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
• $38-$45/hour, based on experience and leadership capability
