Job summary

Quantem Aviation Services is hiring for a Lead cargo agent to coach peers and expedite movement of incoming and outgoing cargo for air transport. 3 full-time positions on 3rd shift and 2 part-time roles in evenings are available.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 18+ years old, and English proficiency. Prior shipping experience is a plus. Training is provided and safety standards must be followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Previous shipping experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• Must be able to verbally direct in English.

Responsibilities

• Builds up and breaks down cargo pallets and freight containers following guidelines.
• Ensures all company and customer safety standards are met and maintained.
• Identifies cargo that does not meet customer or company standards and or guidelines.
• Organises freight within the warehouse according to the base storage plan.
• Properly and safely loads and unloads freight.
