Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking a Lead Caregiver to support our caregivers and clients in Washington. The role includes filling in shifts, training new staff, and coverage within a 15-mile radius of home while supporting multiple branches.

Schedule typically Monday–Friday 8a–6p with weekends a plus; pay is $24.25 per hour. You will receive hands-on training, orientation, and ongoing support from our teams.

Qualifications

• Lead Caregivers are experienced individuals who help with our most critical shifts.
• Must be available to work on short notice within 15 miles of home and within service areas.
• Washington state requires HCA or CNA license or enrollment in training program.
• One year of experience in home care, AFH, hospital or nursing home.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Smartphone with AxisCare app.
• 18 years or older; pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes).
• Cooking and serving meals.
• Bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
• Provide companionship through activities and conversation.
• Transport clients for errands or appointments in your car.
• Assist with gait belt or Hoyer transfers.
• Monitor and report on client condition.
