Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Lead Caregiver in the Richmond, VA area. You will serve as shift leader and provide hands-on ADL support while coaching the caregiving team to uphold high-quality, compassionate care.

You will review charting for ISP alignment, monitor resident changes, and participate in onboarding and mentoring. This role emphasizes safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions with a focus on teamwork and exemplary service.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications required.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure alignment with ISP.
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support onboarding and mentor new team members.
• Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions.
