About Us:
Home Helpers Home Care of Manassas is a fast-growing agency dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to seniors and individuals in need. We believe in building a strong team, working collaboratively, and creating a supportive environment where everyone is invested in our mission.

About the Role: We’re looking for a Lead Caregiver who’s more than just reliable — we need a flexible, proactive team player with solid caregiving skills and administrative/tech know-how. This person will support both caregivers in the field and our office team, helping to train new hires, uphold care quality, and jump in when needed as a caregiver to fill client shifts.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to be part of something and assist the team in growing. We’re building a team of leaders who want to OWN their role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a mentor and role model to field caregivers
  • Conduct Left & Right Seat (side-by-side) training and shadowing shifts for new hires
  • Assist with onboarding, orientation, and caregiver documentation
  • Support the office in screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and recruiting new talent
  • Accompany nurses and assist with client assessments and care plan coordination
  • Oversee 90-day performance reviews for caregivers
  • Assist with scheduling support, including covering call-outs or emergency shifts when needed
  • Attend administrative meetings and provide caregiver insight to help improve operations
  • Monitor caregiver compliance with policies, care plans, and WellSky documentation
  • Support client transitions and escalate concerns as needed
  • Help ensure medication instructions and tasks are being followed
  • Communicate updates, provide transportation if required, and contribute to daily problem-solving
This Role is Ideal For Someone Who:
  • Takes initiative and thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Is tech-savvy and comfortable using systems like DocuSign, WellSky, and Care Academy
  • Can manage multiple tasks and still show up on time and ready to lead
  • Knows how to train and coach others without micromanaging
  • Understands that reliability and consistency are key to great care
  • Wants to be part of a team that values leadership, transparency, and growth
  • Has reliable transportation and is flexible with availability
  • Can balance fieldwork with light admin duties and virtual communication
Minimum Requirements:
  • 2+ years of caregiving experience (HHA, CNA, or PCA certification preferred)
  • Leadership or training experience is a strong plus
  • Strong communication and time-management skills
  • Tech comfort: You’ll use email, phone, video chat, WellSky, Care Academy, and digital forms
  • Willing to travel within Prince William County
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Apply If You’re Ready To:
  • Add to a team that cares
  • Lead by example
  • Stay consistent and grow
  • Receive constructive feedback & apply what you learn from experience
  • Support caregivers and clients
