Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Lead Caregiver in Raleigh, NC to act as shift leader, ensuring consistent resident care and guiding the caregiving team. Responsibilities include supervising shifts, coaching staff, and monitoring charting per ISP.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid/MMA certifications, and strong communication and decision‑making skills, with prior senior care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications required.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision‑making skills expected.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands‑on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure alignment with ISP.
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support onboarding and mentor new team members.
• Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions.
