Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Lead Care Associate – Assisted Living (AL) in Albuquerque, NM. The role focuses on assisting residents with activities of daily living and leading during weekend shifts (Friday–Sunday, 32 hours).

You will support care management, train new staff, and coordinate with the Health and Wellness Director to ensure high-quality resident care. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with 1+ years of senior care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent training.
• 1+ years senior care experience preferred.
• CNA/CHHA licensure may be required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and leadership with medication, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Coordinate and conduct training of new staff members and assist all team members.
• Meet regularly with Health and Wellness Director to review resident care issues.
• Serve as staff and family resource when director is unavailable.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform Directors of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
