Job summary

Griswold Home Care in Vancouver, WA seeks a dedicated Lead Caregiver for a full-time, on-site role. You will supervise shifts, mentor caregivers, and ensure compassionate non-medical elder care for clients in their homes.

You will provide companionship, assist with daily tasks, and coordinate with the office to document updates. We offer competitive pay, flexible hours, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with auto insurance.
• HCA, CNA, or NAR certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience.
• Available to work 5 days per week, preferably Mon-Fri.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead Caregiver duties including mentorship and training of newer caregivers.
• Provide non-medical elderly care and companionship.
• Assist with chores: laundry, shopping, meal prep.
• Complete shift documentation and communicate with office.
• Support clients to remain in their homes with dignity.

YOUR LIFE AS A LEAD CAREGIVER

As a Lead Caregiver you will step in for critical shifts, short-notice fill-ins, and new client transitions. You will provide mentorship and training to newer caregivers.When not working a shift you will work in the office or out in the field. You will be guaranteed full time wages.

As a Caregiver, you have the rewarding job of helping seniors live as fully and independently as possible while remaining in the places they love. You competently provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship, helping with various responsibilities such as laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation. With the client’s dignity always at the forefront of your mind, you help them maintain proper personal hygiene. You are gentle and professional as you aid them with daily tasks such as bathing and feeding. At times, you provide companionship to clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments. Your kind and patient demeanor serves you well as you ensure they receive the highest quality of elderly care.

You carefully complete documentation for each shift, submitting timely updates. Committed to providing consistent elderly care, you communicate routinely with the office about the condition and needs of your clients.You feel good about helping seniors enjoy their golden years, and you are glad you chose a career in the caregiving industry.
