Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Lead Caregiver who will serve as shift leader, providing hands-on ADL support and coaching the caregiving team to deliver exceptional resident care.

You will review charting, align with ISP, monitor resident changes, support onboarding of new staff, and promote safety and compliance. This role combines frontline caregiving with leadership responsibilities and professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications required.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in assisted living or senior care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
